MY CAMERA BAG

Photography has always been part of my life.  For my 18th birthday, my father gave me a point and shoot Minolta.  It lasted till I was in my 30s!

Then my husband replaced everything by an impressive Minolta and various lenses.  I thoroughly enjoyed using it during my children's childhood.

Then the digital age arrived in our house and finally this is what I have now:

In my Think Tank International I have:

Nikon D700

Nikon D3000, my first DSLR since October 2009, up until then I had a Minolta and I was taking good photos which are displayed in my albums.  I scrapbook.

The various lenses I have acquired along the way.

Nikkor 50mm 1.4 one word: amazing

Nikkor 85mm 1.4  I am get used to this bad boy, the bokeh is out of this world for portraits. :)

Nikkor 18-105mm 3.5 - 6.3, this one is most of the time on the D3000

Nikkor 24-70mm 2.8  the best lense for family gatherings: ie weddings, christening, I love it!

Nikkor 70 - 200mm 2.8, after a lot of deliberating but I know I am not going to regret it.

Tamron 90mm 2.8 Macro 1:1, I also like to use this lense for portraits

Tamron 18-270mm 3.5 - 6.3 still one of my favorite especially when being a tourist!


Other bits and pieces

My lightscoop, I love my lightscoop, it gives me indoor flash picture without ugly shadows or red eyes.  I put it on, put it on Aperture priority and live my WB on auto and the trick is done.

Speedlight 600,  after a fantastic course with Brett Harkness  I am learning to like working with flash.  Recently I have been working with Genesis 400 and Softbox Hex 21.

For editing I use Picasa from Google still and PSE8, I learn daily with PSE as I am an avid learner.  I also like to use actions.
