The area of Ximen in Taipei is great fun. Ben my guide took me there first and I loved it. The colourful sights and the smells and the shops were delightful.
I went back with my husband and we spent a long time walking through the various parts and watching the young people meandering in their favorite shopping malls.

O, the beauty of foreign places... Makes me want to travel!
Isn't it funny that things we see every day at home take on new meaning when we see them in a different setting? Just goes to prove, familiarity breeds contempt. I need to see home with new eyes!!!
