Thursday still in Taipei

The area of Ximen in Taipei is great fun.  Ben my guide took me there first and I loved it.  The colourful sights and the smells and the shops were delightful.  

I went back with my husband and we spent a long time walking through the various parts and watching the young people meandering in their favorite shopping malls.

I am of few words, awed by the vastness and sheer size of the scenery in front of me.

This has been the road trip of a life time.

I had planned a while back to go on a training course with Brett Harkness, this would be my second, and this one took place at Chester Zoo, England.

The challenge was a documentary shoot with only one lenses, the 50mm.

I was indeed challenged and learned so much.

This was taken on the 21st January, it had snowed both on the Friday and Sunday all day.

Since living in England I had not seen that amount.

I know it causes a lot of chaos for transport and people having to be places but I love the country looking so white.
