Perfect

I guess I could say "Perfect is in the eye of the beholder".
There is nothing perfect when I first look at these photos( it is blurry, the background is not brilliant I had to convert it to black and white to make it half decent) and yet it is perfect.  My mum celebrating her 80th birthday and in the afternoon we danced.  Here my son (he is 22) is dancing with her.
The joy I feel when I look at this photo is perfect and I guess that's what counts...

Happy Place

This is Etang Sale, Reunion Island, I have not yet been in the world (and I do travel a fair bit) where I feel as happy as I am when I am there.

I was playing about with the corals to form a heart, during a recent visit.

Sunday in my City - Let's look at an impressive fish...!

One of the advantages of living on an island, is the possibility of eating fresh fish.

I love fish, I could eat it everyday...

This is a parrot fish. A wonderful specimen at that.

In my language those are called "Macabi"

Hot Monday

I am carrying on with sharing photos recently taken whilst on holiday in Reunion Island.

Often seen sold in the street are the raw chillies and also home-made chilli paste in recycled glass jars.

Sunday in my City - A little teaser

I have just come back from my home country after a lengthy stay with my mother, this is just a little teaser to say I am still around...
In the next few days I will be posting more regularly.  It will be lovely to catch up.

Simplicity - Daydream

Daydreaming at this time of year, well it has to be my island (La Réunion)!

Can you hear the waves crashing in the far distance and the water lapping at the edge!

Silhouette @ I Heart Faces

This photo was taken in St Gilles (La Réunion, Indian Ocean),  we had just watched the whales splashing in and out of the water and we were walking back to our hotel.  Some children were still playing in the warm water.  I like the little silhouettes.  Want to see more click below.  Thank you for visiting.
