More walking and taking pictures of local swans.

Project 52

Visiting Kew Gardens, London on a bank holiday Monday was a good idea.  The place was more busy than I have ever seen and the seasonal displays were fun as you can see below with the wicker mushrooms.

They also had patches of pumpkins of various varieties.  I learned a lot.

A fantastic round raised bed of vegetable/herbs.

It was hot and we also discovered a new walk by the river Thames.  When we arrived the tide was low and when we left the tide was high.  I will have to post more photos of that.

Tango in Paris

Can it get any better in the most romantic city in the world: Argentinian tango in Paris in front of the Eiffel tower!

Tones on Tuesday

I was thinking about Tones on Tuesday, and then looking at the palette of this photo,  the tones are few and yet the details sharp.

Tones on Tuesday

I went for a walk around my local lakes to see how far Spring was, there were few ducks out, I think they are still nesting,  in a couple of weeks and I sure to see ducklings and goslings.

I was fascinated with the different tones in the feathers of this one.

The swans were enjoying the sunshine just as much as me.

 The grey heron was very tame and I was able to get very close.
